J. Craig Smith, Kathryn J. Steffey, and Clayton H. Preece successfully represented the Sponsors of the Referendum challenging the zoning of the old Cottonwood Mall site. In an expedited process, Mr. Smith, Ms. Steffey and Mr. Preece obtained an order from the district court requiring the City of Holladay to place the referendum on the ballot for a vote. The Utah Supreme Court issued its opinion affirming the district court and therefore validating the vote of the citizens on November 28, 2018.
