J. Craig Smith and David B. Hartvigsen presented at the Annual Conference of the Rural Water Association of Utah, which was held in St. George. Mr. Smith’s presentation was entitled “An Integrated Approach to Acquiring Water Rights and Shares” and provided information on how public water suppliers can implement a comprehensive strategy for acquiring water rights and water shares to provide for future development. Mr. Hartvigsen’s presentation was entitled “News from Capitol Hill” and provided an update on water-related legislation being considered by the Utah Legislature.
